Hello, Beverly. How was your first full day? I was hoping to see some news from you tonight. It’s 8PM. Gotta start getting ALL these kids in bed. I’ll check back later tonight before I head off to bed. Hope you had a WONDERFUL day full of new experiences. (How’s the food?) May God be with you as you continue the work you are doing.
well the first day is about over. was up at 5am. the weather was very nice but I am not going to brag because I feel sorry for all of you dealing with the snow.. we had a very interseting first day of work. starting out with the breaks on the van started smoking so bad just before the very steep hill so the first van had to make two trips to get us all down there…basicly as soon as we all were at the village we started working….the walls are up and dry walled…. had fun with the kids, they love candy and that is an understatement. to see the joy and excitement in there faces was great. they wanted to help when every they could…it was just a blessed day…Love you all….I miss you honey and baby girl… oh yeah the van was able to get us all back at the end of the day with out smoking this time…

well took me hour too clear the driveway today. snow stopped sometime during the nite. jazmine is still running around house looking for you then runs back too me and cry’s like i cant find her where did you hide mommy at???? we both love you and wait too hear next exciteing story and hope the van’s brakes held out better today. btw young lady we need too talk about keeping your car cleaned out did it today after finishing driveway and removed over 80 popcans from it~! tisk tisk here i thought us males were the messy ones! love you very much waiting too see pictures of teams work so know what you been up too. seeya soon~
second day I was feeling very well so I ended up staying back at the base….read alot of the Bible and enjoyed the God’s beautiful country…..but I am sure enjoying the stories of today through everyone and their pictures…I am feeling a little better hoping alot better by tomorrow morning…..wanted to make sure you have money honey…I love you both and miss you both like crazy can’t wait to see you both….

Blenda, I am thankful that you are safe and sound, from the pictures I have been seeing in DC it looks like they have more snow than we do…last night on the news Greta was walking around showing the Capital and it was so pretty…too bad it is shutting everything down but maybe everyone needed a break…although no electric for a length of time is not a good thing…especially when we have a well and nothing works when you do not have electricity! ok one of the first things I learned when we moved to Hudsonville, no water no flush!

I am starting to feel better…just waiting for an MRI of the brain to rule out things…it could just be medicine build up since I have been on a couple extra for the pain in my back…the doctor said that the two for my back were very strong and could cause slurred speech and very weak. we are praying that is why so that nothing else is going on. Thank you for praying for me.

lets start with thanks for the paryers….I am feeling alot better….today was just an amazing day, very emotional,(sorry I never been good at spelling)…..the house that I was building with 5 other wonderful people was for a lady with 4 kids all under the age of 8, her husband pasted away last fall…she was in such tears and amazment by the house and the gifts of clothes, shoes and toys that we gave her and her children….her sisters and their family and her mother came from a different village to be there for the dedication of the house, the villages are not close and most of them walk everywhere they go…. It was AWSOME to watch the emotions of everyone of them during this and when they excepted Christ as there Lord and savoir…..Such a blessed day….thank you to all that kept encouraging me to come even when I was not sure of it….I am so glad and blessed that I did come… Love you all and miss every one of you….Hugs and kisses to you all….

(different version of find waldo?) ok i went and found the new 5th picture the 4 are the old ones glad they still can recognize their aunt. was hopeing for more then 1 new one are you being camera shy again aunt beverly?? someone needs too sneak up on you better too take your picture, come on pastor tim i know you can. well honey another boreing day missing you. jazmine has calmed down some but every noise from outside she takes off barking like is it you mom are ya back yet??? we both love you and glad too hear you arent eating the food you took with gonna hand that out next so you dont have too bring it back with you? i agree with stephanie is food spicy? try and get a recipe so i can make back here when you get home you know my sister’s mary (the gourmet chef) rule gotta try it before you say you dont like something. got weekend off so will try and stay out of trouble laundry is done and takeing cat toys too thrift store so can sell and have more money for the next team they send down. well friday we went to a differnt village to distrubute meds to them…..I was one of 7 that wanted to be in the line to package up the meds after Dan gave us a paper what they needed….to see so many of them hurting for this reason or the next tears at ones hurt…to see the pain and/or fear in their hurts but also some where showing joy and greatfulness that we were there to help…..while only 7 of us where inside the rest were out side playing with kids….I would of loved to of been there but I would not of changed it at all…I sometimes felt that there fears disappeared after we all just kept smiling and waving to them, because they would eventually smile back, it was just awsome to see…..then they played the Jesus movie and so many of them were so into it they propably never seen a movie in their live…..then a wonderful man gave a powerful message in their lanuge but I could not understand him but I surely could feel his emotions….and what it sounds like is that the entire village gave their live to Jesus last night….It was just awsome….oh I forgot before the gay spoke we all got up and sang to them, some of us gave testominy (ok no one faint dead away with this) bup ut I got up and gave one to infact I was the first one….dont’ ask me what I said for I am still shaking for doing that, still in shock, it felt like someone had a rope around me and pulling me forward, ( kinda like the same feeling I had when I started going back to church and I love it that I am back in church) God is so Amazing…..
well today we are off to another village for meds….today is sopose to be a much later day than yesterday and yesterday we did not be back until ater 10…..and this one is I guess is like a 3 hour drive to and from……

well today we went to a different village, this time I got to play with the childern all day…painted figure nails, coloring, played catch with all kinds of balls, and just chasing them or them chasing me, it was a great day…..I have learned one thing I am not the only one that is shy…..My heart was just over flowing with joy by the end of the day….oh what an amazing feeling….

Ok this is the last posting I am going to put on here…..We made it home last night around 8:30 or so…..As I jump back in to life here, I have to sit and wonder why with everything I do, when they live so content and happy with what little they have…..The easiest way for me to sum up this week is that GOD was felt and seen in so many differnt ways for me and I am sure for most of us….We were ( I was ) blessed in manys ways, being part of an amazing group, helped me to able to see and experince GOD in so many differnt and new ways…. If you feel lost and searching to feel and see GOD I highly recommend that you take this mission trip and experince and see what I have seen…..

well friday we went to a differnt village to distrubute meds to them…..I was one of 7 that wanted to be in the line to package up the meds after Dan gave us a paper what they needed….to see so many of them hurting for this reason or the next tears at ones hurt…to see the pain and/or fear in their hurts but also some where showing joy and greatfulness that we were there to help…..while only 7 of us where inside the rest were out side playing with kids….I would of loved to of been there but I would not of changed it at all…I sometimes felt that there fears disappeared after we all just kept smiling and waving to them, because they would eventually smile back, it was just awsome to see…..then they played the Jesus movie and so many of them were so into it they propably never seen a movie in their live…..then a wonderful man gave a powerful message in their lanuge but I could not understand him but I surely could feel his emotions….and what it sounds like is that the entire village gave their live to Jesus last night….It was just awsome….oh I forgot before the gay spoke we all got up and sang to them, some of us gave testominy (ok no one faint dead away with this) bup ut I got up and gave one to infact I was the first one….dont’ ask me what I said for I am still shaking for doing that, still in shock, it felt like someone had a rope around me and pulling me forward, ( kinda like the same feeling I had when I started going back to church and I love it that I am back in church) God is so Amazing…..
well today we are off to another village for meds….today is sopose to be a much later day than yesterday and yesterday we did not be back until ater 10…..and this one is I guess is like a 3 hour drive to and from……

Everyone else is lobsters….I am not, can not take that chance when I had skin cancer removed just a little over a year ago…I have the highest type of suntan lotion I keep offering it to everyone else but they want the sun…..so they are all lobsters….hehehehehe….Stephanie the foods is not that bad and it is not spicy….Love you guys…
glad you are still enjoying it honey should have known food wasnt spicy you dont like it spicy. was kinda worried about lobster thing didnt remember if you packed lotion or not. still miss you alot and so does baby girl. btw your side of the bed has been kept nice and warm she has been learning too sleep outside of crate all week will be interesting when you return if we can get her too sleep on bed with us both in it! she loves sleeping curled up right at my feet. only couple nites where she woke me up too go outside not too bad actually just dont overload her on water before we goto bed and should be fine. know we both love you and cant wait too see you monday on your return yes i got day off didnt know till last nite LOVE YOU! sorry gonna be apart on valentines day but know we are never apart in our heart~!

well today we went to a different village, this time I got to play with the childern all day…painted figure nails, coloring, played catch with all kinds of balls, and just chasing them or them chasing me, it was a great day…..I have learned one thing I am not the only one that is shy…..My heart was just over flowing with joy by the end of the day….oh what an amazing feeling….
I wish you were here with me to experince all this with me honey but the next time I come you are coming with me…..
just 1 1/2 days honey and I will be home bring baby girl with to pick me up…..

happy valentines day honey yes i made it up in time for 2nd service~! jazmine aint being nice tho she keeps wakeing me up she headed back too crate this morning i wanted more then 3hrs sleep! every little noise she thinks it’s mommy home and i gotta go see her. i miss you that much too so i understand but sleep comes first will try again once you home and she can relax at both our feet! hope you enjoy your last day there can wait too hear all your stories tommorow. yes i will have jazmine with when i pick you up she has had her nails done and will give her bath before hand so she smells nice and is all pretty for you! love you honey and incase dont hear from you again till you home i LOVVVVVVVVVVVE YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU THISSSSSSSSSSSSS MUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! we are about to leave to go do some shopping….not the fun part of the trip….if you know me I am not a big fan of shopping….but it will be cool to see what they have….not sure if I will write later tonight but I know I won’t have time tomorrow morning…..I can not believe the week is over it feels like it had just begun…..so many things changed….so many things seen….so many things felt….so many things done….but the best thing is that GOD blessed us all this week in many different ways…can’t wait to see you all….Love you all…

Ok this is the last posting I am going to put on here…..We made it home last night around 8:30 or so…..As I jump back in to life here, I have to sit and wonder why with everything I do, when they live so content and happy with what little they have…..The easiest way for me to sum up this week is that GOD was felt and seen in so many differnt ways for me and I am sure for most of us….We were ( I was ) blessed in manys ways, being part of an amazing group, helped me to able to see and experince GOD in so many differnt and new ways…. If you feel lost and searching to feel and see GOD I highly recommend that you take this mission trip and experince and see what I have seen…..
