    Sarah-
Hope you, Dane, and Josh have a great trip! Keep an eye on Josh for me. This is new for Josh to go to another country (other then Canada). I know he can be quiet, but he knows you and Dane well. Glad the two of you are going. Not sure if Josh would’ve gone otherwise. Have fun! Encourage Josh to get to know others too from the group.

Thanks & God Bless you all!

Hi Sarah, I was shoveling my sidewalk and thought of you in the warm countryside. Hope the work is going well and you are enjoying your time there. You and Dane and the others are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Sarah, We hope you are having a great time. The country and people are beautiful aren’t they? Enjoy the weather also, it snowed about 8 inches here on Tuesday. I am back at work but think of you often and wishing I was back there. Let us know what time to be at church to pick you and Dane up. Praying that the people of Guatemale see Christ through you.
    Love you!

    Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven’t written yet this week! We’ve been very busy, and I just haven’t taken the time…

We are having a GREAT time! This week has been so much fun! I can’t wait to tell you more about it when we get home! Tuesday- Thursday we built a house (four small groups each built one), yesterday we went to a remote village and did a clinic and played with the kids (I had so much fun french braiding their hair!), today we are going to a coastal village (about 3 hours away) to do another clinic, and tomorrow we go to Antigua to go shopping! Many people have accepted Christ in each of the villages we have been to, and it is very powerful! Well, I will tell you all more when we get home!

Mom, we will be home on monday evening- not sure exactly what time- can you bring my car to church after you eat dinner please? Also, would you mind giving Aunt Betty a call and ask her what my work schedule is for this week, or at least the next day I have to work? Thank you!

I love you all, see you in a few days!

    Sarah

    Sarah-
I can help you out with your work schedule. I did a third last night and happened to get a copy of the schedule. You work Wed. 2-17 6a-3p, and Fri. 2-19 7a-3p. Hope all is going well. Sounds like your trip is really great! Say “hi” to Josh for me. See ‘ya later.
    In my prayers,
    Sue

    Hey Sarah,
    Sue is right :)
I called Harbor House after I read your blog and talked to Sara, she gave me your schedule for this coming week and the following. Have a great rest of the weekend. We would like to greet you at church if you happen to know the approximate time you will arrive, if not we will leave the car like you left for us last week.
    Love MOM

Thanks so much Sue and Mom!

    Happy Valentines Day!

It’s hard to believe that the week here is almost over- it went by so fast and was so wonderful! I’m so glad that dane and I were able to be on the same trip- we have been able to experience so many great things together! Sue- you’ll be so proud of Josh- he’s been opening up to everyone on this trip and has been taking initiative with getting the work done! I’ve really enjoyed being here with him too!

One story for now… Last night we were at a coastal village doing a clinic and sharing the word of God. Afterwards, a lady with her daughter came up to Dane and me. She thanked us for going all the way to her village to share the love of God, asked Dane and me if we were married, and then gave us a bag of bananas as a gift. Lisa said it must be our first wedding gift, so she took a picture of us!

I think we’ll be back to VRC around 8pm Monday, maybe a little earlier…? Can’t wait to see you then and tell you all about the trip!
